Are your instructors licensed?

Yes, our instructors are state-licensed and well-trained.

Can I use my own car?

No, for your safety, we must use the company training car.

What happens after I complete the class?

A certificate of completion will be emailed to you.

Do I need a permit to start classes?

No permit is required to take the driver's ed class. The student must be at least 14 years and 6 months old to begin their online course. 

How old do I need to be to start driver's ed?

You must be at least 14.5 by the first day of the driver's ed class.

Behind-the-Wheel

As a teen, how many hours of behind-the-wheel are required by the state of Texas?

In the state of Texas, students between the ages of 15 and 18 are required to complete 14 total hours of driving instruction with a certified instructor. Seven behind-the-wheel and seven observation.

What safety equipment are your cars equipped with?

Our vehicles have safety features (such as passenger brakes, passenger mirrors, and student driver signs) that are not typically found in standard cars.

How long does it take to complete Driver Ed?

It depends on the student's availability. We require at least one day between drives to ensure the student is practicing with both a parent and with us. 

Can I request to have lessons with a friend?

You both will be able to see the same schedule. If there are two spots available, you both can schedule. We do not take special requests for lessons together.

Do you offer home pick-up and drop-off?

Yes, we do offer pick-up and drop-off. Our service area is on our home screen.

Will I have other students in the car with me?

Yes, especially if you're doing the 7/7. The state of Texas requires seven hours of behind-the-wheel and seven hours of observation, which requires you to be in the car with another student.
